Center for Ministry Training 2nd Annual Pastor's Conference

Purpose

The CMT seeks partners who will stand with TTU to see a new generation of men and women trained up to serve God in His global advance.

A yearly meeting of the CMT leadership, faculty, and CMT board enhances communication and affords TTU the opportunity to improve the ministry preparation curriculum and internships. The Pastors Advisory Board will provide open and honest assessments through the annual meetings.

Johnny HuntSpecial Guest Speaker Johnny Hunt

Dr. Johnny M. Hunt, born July 17, 1952, in Lumberton, North Carolina. He is married to Janet Allen Hunt of Wilmington, North Carolina. They have two daughters: Deanna Hunt Carswell and Hollie Hunt Hixson. They also have three granddaughters: Hope Savannah Hixson, Addie Lee Hixson, Katie Hunter Carswell and one grandson, Carson John Carswell.

Dr. Hunt served as President of the Pastors’ Conference of the Southern Baptist Convention in 1996.

Dr. Hunt is currently serving as President of the Southern Baptist Convention for the term 2009-2010.

The CMT Board is primarily supported by the cooperating churches, ministries and mission agencies that desire to invest in underwriting the ministry students’ scholarships. Become a partner today by joining us at one four levels of support.
