Chattanooga

Tennessee Temple University is a mile from I-24, and four miles from both I-75 and Chattanooga's airport, Lovell Field. Chattanooga is within 2 hours of  Nashville and Knoxville, Tennessee, and Atlanta, Georgia. Tennessee Temple University takes this opportunity of proximity to give students a variety of options for entertainment, activities, trips, and out reach. As well as an chance to see other sites that surrounding states and cities have to offer neighboring our campus based in the heart of Chattanooga.

Chattanooga, Tennessee is located at the foot of beautiful Lookout Mountain and on the banks of the Tennessee River. This makes our location perfect for those interested in outdoor activities such as hiking,caving, biking, white water rafting, rock climbing, river swimming, repelling, canoeing and cliff jumping. For those not so daring there are several parks with in miles of the campus for picnicking, studying , or just enjoying our beautiful city. The nearby Chickamauga National Military Park is the largest national military park in the country. A number of natural attractions as well as TVA water projects are also with in miles of our campus. 

TTU desires to plan events that are centered not only on our campus, but also that focus on the city around us. As apart of that we publicize many local events to our students in an effort to get them out to explore the attractive city we live in. Listed among the popular resources our scenic city has to offer Tennessee Temple University students enjoy the charm of the river boat cruises, plays ,concerts, community and city wide events such as Swingfest Jazz Festival, The 4 Bridges Art Festival, and  Nightfall in the Park to list a few. There are a number of historical museums and battlefields in the metropolitan area. Many of which offer discounts or free days to the community and college students.

TTU also offers to it's student's local and numerous exclusive to TTU discounts to several of our community business such as The Rush Fitness Facility, The Rave Movie Theater, CiCi's Pizza, Qdoba, Papa Johns, Six Flags, White Water Rafting, to mention a few.
