Founded in 1946, TTU has a passion for challenging students
academically and encouraging them to grow in their faith.
Undergraduate Studies
The Undergraduate program is the centerpiece of the educational endeavors of Tennessee Temple University. With over 40 majors offered in 13 fields of study, incoming students are offered a wealth of choices as they pursue their degrees. Committed faculty are dedicated to serving the student's needs and providing them with a rich program of academics mixed with practical applications which will benefit the students as they go out and serve the Lord.
Each program is uniquely designed with a blend of specific concentrations of academic subjects such as Math, Science, English, History, Political Science and Computer Science, enriched with sound Biblical teaching. The distinctive local church atmosphere equips students to serve the Lord no matter where their careers lead them.
The learning experience is further enhanced by practical hands on training, which includes internships, student teaching opportunities, and missions trips. Our goal is to equip students with the knowledge and training necessary for them to excel in their careers, as well as their experiences and accountability, which will encourage students to cultivate their individual walks with the Lord, Whom they are training to serve. Upon graduating from Tennessee Temple University, our students will truly be "workmen who needeth not to be ashamed" (1 Timothy 2:15).
