Founded in 1946, TTU has a passion for challenging students
academically and encouraging them to grow in their faith.
Temple Baptist Seminary passes many advantages along to students! Seminarians may take part in our many affordable certificate and degree programs through resident, modular, or online classes! Our faculty members are among the finest conservative scholars in America, and Temple Baptist Seminary credits and degrees are widely recognized by other accredited seminaries.
In 2013, the faculty of TBS, TTU and the Board of Trustees approved the revision of all Seminary degree programs. The master's degrees (Master of Ministry, Master of Arts in Biblical Studies, Master of Arts in Christian Education, and Master of Divinity) now have two tracks for the student: the regular track for those students without prior theological education and a fast track for those students who earned a bachelor degree from a Bible college or Christian university. The Doctor of Ministry program now offers 6 concentrations in a 30 semester hour degree program. DMin students take one course on the main campus in a one-week residential format, and the remainder of the degree is earned online.
