General Requirements - First-time College Students

  • An online or paper application for submission
  • An official high school transcript, or it’s equivalent (GED transcript), sent to the Admissions Office.  A minimum GPA of 2.0 is required.  The GED score must pass the 60% mark.
  • An official score report of the ACT or SAT.  A composite score minimum of 17 is required for the ACT and a composite score minimum of 1230 is required for the SAT.

Once these documents are received, and the requirements are met, the applicant will be notified of their acceptance or denial.  Applicants will be denied if they do not meet the minimum requirements.  The Director of Enrollment Services and the Committee of Admissions reserve the right to accept certain applicants on a probationary status if the minimum requirements are not met.  

As applicants are accepted, the following documents and procedures are required: 

  • A vaccination record including two MMR (Mumps, Measles, Rubella) vaccinations.
  • Free Application for Student Aid (FAFSA) and the TTU Financial Aid Application must be submitted to TTU Financial Aid Office. 
  • A tuition deposit of $100.  The deposit will start the process is registering the applicant for classes.

  • An online or paper application for submission
  • Official college transcripts from every college attended.  If applicants do not have at least 30 transferable credits, the official final high school transcript and standardized test scores are required.

Once these documents have been received, and the requirements have been met, an admissions counselor will notify the applicant of their acceptance or denial.  Applicants will be denied if they do not meet the minimum requirements.  The Director of Enrollment Services and the Committee of Admissions reserve the right to accept certain applicants on a probationary status if the minimum requirements are not met.
