HOPE Scholarship now available at Tennessee Temple
Tennessee Temple University has been historically known for challenging students academically and encouraging them to grow in their faith. Originally conceived in 1946 as a two-year college and Bible school, the institution soon expanded to a four-year college, and today includes programs from pre-school to the Ph.D.
This year the university has reached several milestones which include enrollment increases, the launch of a major campus and community redevelopment project in historic Highland Park and the success of its academic degree programs most notably the commencement of the school’s third Doctor of Philosophy in Leadership cohort. We are now pleased to announce yet another milestone. Effective immediately, the HOPE scholarship is now available to students wishing to attend Tennessee Temple University. Starting fall 2010, eligible incoming freshmen with a minimum of a 21 ACT (980 SAT) or overall weighted minimum 3.0 grade point average can take advantage of the state funded scholarship program designed to encourage students to go to college. With a combination of Pell grants, the university’s free room program and now the availability of the HOPE Scholarship, freshmen can virtually attend Tennessee Temple at little to no cost!
Tennessee Temple University is accredited by the Transnational Association of Christian Colleges and Schools which is recognized by the United States Department of Education and the Council for Higher Education Accreditation.
