Founded in 1946, TTU has a passion for challenging students
academically and encouraging them to grow in their faith.
Praise the Lord for all of His blessings on TTU!
We are so thankful for the growth we are seeing in our residential enrollment. In the fall of 2011, TTU had 284 resident students enrolled. This fall our resident enrollment has increased to 417. The gain of 133 students represents a 47% growth rate! One of the factors has been our new night certificate program that currently has 38 enrolled. Yet, even without that program we have seen a 33 percent growth rate. We now have over 90 more students living in the dorms than we did two years ago! Yet the reach of TTU is beyond just the residential campus. The final figures for last year, including online students and those who take short term modules, show that TTU had an unduplicated headcount enrollment 1,267! We are expecting an even greater number at the end of this school year.
Even more important than numerical growth has been the consistent spiritual growth that we have been seeing on campus. The packed chapel services in the St. Andrew’s auditorium have been uplifting. Students are responding to the invitations to give their lives whole heartedly in service to Christ. Professors and staff are reporting that they have noticed a spiritual stirring in the hearts of our students. Truly God is bringing a movement of His Holy Spirit to our campus.
Not only did we have the good news of the enrollment increase, but we also have seen God provide through the meeting of our goal for the matching grant of $75,000 that was provided by the Covenant Values Foundation. So far we have received $84,519!
I only wish that all of you will have the opportunity to stop by and see what God is doing at TTU. Doors of opportunity are opening for us. You will be hearing about some of these in the near future. Above all keep us in your prayers.
