The mission of Tennessee Temple University is to provide Christ-centered
higher education that transforms lives academically and spiritually for the glory of God.
William Carey once said, “To know the will of God, we need an open Bible and an open map.”
Robert Moffat, who inspired David Livingstone, said, “In the vast plain to the north I have sometimes seen, in the morning sun, the smoke of a thousand villages where no missionary has ever been.”
Jesus said, “The harvest is truly plenteous, but the labourers are few; pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest.”
He also, later, added, “Go ye therefore and make disciples of all nations…”
We take the command of Jesus literally. We have been called to GO! to the nations and preach the Gospel of Christ.
GO! is a community of likeminded believers who desire to see the glory of God spread across the planet in such a captivating way that no one can deny his omnipotence and his worthiness of all praise. We strive to meet once a month in order to worship together and hear from missionaries about their work on the field in striving to glorify God on a global scale.
We understand that God doesn’t call everyone to Africa or Asia; however, we also believe God has called everyone to GO! even if it is to their neighbor.
Darwin Blandon (our Chief Information Officer here at TTU) will be presenting his testimony from growing up in Nicaragua to his life under the ministry of missionaries. It is an amazing testimony and there is little else that can compare to it.
Come join us as we celebrate God and His work in our lives, as we seek to glorify God globally.
