Heritage Weekend Brings Barbeque, Banquets, and Bells!

Tennessee Temple alumni gathered in the dining hall of their alma mater Friday evening for the beginning of Heritage Weekend – a weekend of fun and fellowship for graduates of TTU.  After a fine meal and musical entertainment provided by the Weigle Choir, Executive Vice President Dr. Jim O’Neill welcomed guests from across the continent and announced the finished restoration of the Phillips Chapel clock tower.  TTU President Dr. Danny Lovett then summarized the goings-on of the university and its plans for the future.

Saturday, the alumni and students enjoyed a barbeque meal together on the greens, which began when the new clock tower chimes struck noon.

Dr. O’Neill is very excited to serve and visit with the alumni, and looks forward to Heritage Weekend 2012.
