Ministry Team trip to Seattle

Over Spring Break 10 TTU students traveled to Seattle Washington to work alongside Church of the hollows. The purpose of the trip was to share the gospel with the city of Seattle. While there the students did many prayer walks in the community, volunteered at area schools, partnered with the University of Washington's BCM, collected trash from an adopted street, and served the church planters of the Hallows Church. TTU Campus Pastor John Richardson led the trip. John said, “I also desired to see our students engage a culture that is different from the Bible belt and one that publicly rejects the gospel. I believe it is important to expose students to different cultures and see how they interact and learn through the experience.” As a university TTU desires to provide mission opportunities so our students can put into practice what they learn in the classroom. Our goal is that when students leave our university they know biblical truth and also have ministry experience.
