Pastoral Ministry
God’s word changes lives. As a pastoral studies student at Tennessee Temple University, you will learn to communicate His life-changing truth to the people of the church accurately and effectively. As an accurate teacher of the Bible, you will understand how to study the Bible inductively and apply its doctrines to your personal life, your ministry to the church, and current theological questions and issues. You will also learn to communicate effectively, training those around you to know God’s truth and teach God’s truth to others. As a graduate of our pastoral studies program, you will be equipped for opportunities to minister through evangelism, teaching, writing, missional work, and media; you will also be prepared to pursue further studies in seminary. The successful pastoral studies major will learn how to fulfill the Great Commission, making disciples who can make disciples who can make disciples!
