Founded in 1946, TTU has a passion for challenging students
academically and encouraging them to grow in their faith.
Spring Registration
At Temple Baptist Seminary, the student takes the driver’s seat in the registration process. This means that, although Seminary faculty, staff, and advisors are available to guide and assist our students, the student alone bears the responsibility to ensure that all the requirements for graduation are met. New students will be assigned an advisor when their admission file is complete and they are admitted to the university. Students may register for classes upon consultation with their advisors. Our advisors are always happy to help students in course registration by recommending classes that compliment the students’ chosen career path while keeping them mindful of their graduation schedules.
There is no registration fee for first time students. Returning students should register for classes during the scheduled pre-registration period to avoid the registration fee. Returning students who do not register at least two weeks before classes begin will be charged a late registration fee.
The academic catalog contains the course requirements for the various academic programs. Students should become very familiar with the requirements of their specific program. For more information about course prerequisites, recommended course loads, part-time studies, class sizes, drop-add periods, audits, and alternative study programs, please consult the academic catalog.
Seminary Registration
Registration for Spring 2012 begins November 1, 2011. The Spring 2012 term begins January 10, 2012 and concludes on May 4, 2012. Courses are open for registration on a first-come basis so register early to insure a seat.
If you are a returning residential student and complete your registration by November 11th, you will not be charged the $75 registration fee. Register by November 18th and you will receive a $100 credit with the e-campus book store toward your spring courses. If you wait until the December 12th deadline to register, you will not only have missed out on the $100 book credit but you will also incur a $50 late fee. Register early!
University and Seminary students will need to read/download the appropriate forms linked below starting with the “Registration Instructions.” Be sure to read the Registration Instructions since there are changes in the registration processes this term. New this term is the requirement that you must check in with Financial Aid before you can register for your courses. As before, you still must submit the online "Student Information Form" prior to registering. Clicking on the links below will access the forms necessary for registration.
