TTU Starts Third Year Of Leadership Doctoral Program

The Tennessee Temple University Ph.D. in Leadership is a doctoral program designed to address some of the world's pressing leadership problems and to prepare Christian leaders to transform the world for the glory of God. The University’s purpose is to prepare Christian men and women for lives of leadership and service through the emphasis on knowledge acquisition, biblical application, skill development, evangelism, and godly living.

The University is dedicated to providing a Christ-centered education to a diverse population of students from many geographical locations. All classes are taught by dedicated Christian professors who integrate the knowledge of their respective fields with biblical perspectives.

Now in its third year, the Doctor of Philosophy in Leadership Program attracts students from all over the world and from many career disciplines. Dr. Andrew Alexson, Director of Ph.D. in Leadership Program said, “We are one of few accredited schools in the region that offer a Ph.D. in Leadership. We are diverse and cutting edge in our teaching style and curriculum. We have students this year in our cohort from as far as Africa, South Korea, Canada and the West Indies. These doctoral level students are businessmen, pastors, educators and even an elected official from New York. We are so proud and honored to have these scholars in our program and to help them further their education”.

The Ph.D. residency is July 19-23. Each morning session will open with a guest speaker from the community.

July 21- Shawn Kurrelmeier-Lee, chief reading officer of Read 20
July 22 – Rev. Dr. Bernie Miler, pastor of New Covenant Fellowship Church
July 23- Dr. Rozario Slack: pastor, counselor and community activist
