A collection of dozens of databases which provide a digital cross-curricular resource that supports information literacy and the development of 21st century skills and reinforcing the critical difference between authoritative resources and consumer-published content on the web.

 

Ebsco Databases

A definitive source of full text, peer-reviewed scholarly and scientific articles in psychology, journal articles, book reviews, and collections of essays in all fields of religion, and abstracts of scholarly journal articles, book chapters, books, and dissertations in psychology.

 

FirstSearch Databases

The OCLC FirstSearch service supports research in a wide range of subject areas. At the heart of FirstSearch is WorldCat®, containing more than 271 million records representing over 1.8 billion holding locations in libraries worldwide. WorldCat adds value to databases in FirstSearch by linking citations to holdings that helps users find these materials in their own libraries and through the WorldCat Resource Sharing service. You can also limit your searches to the collections of your own library or library group. it also contains the ERIC Education database, as well as the documents provided by the Government Printing Office.

 

ProQuest Databases

Contains the Heritage Quest database which provides access to a comprehensive treasury of American genealogical sources—rich in unique primary sources, local and family histories, and finding aids.

 

Newsbank Databases

This collection provides browsing and searchable full-text for newspapers and television news broadcasts from across the state of Tennessee, and national news magazines.

 

Learning Express Databases

This database offers the practice tests, exercises, skill-building courses, eBooks, and information needed to study for tests at school, at work, or in life. Offerings include tests for jobs and careers, test preparation for college entrance and college classes

 

 

World Book Encyclopedia

This online product is an expanded version of World Book’s print encyclopedias. Without the space constraints of the printed page, World Book has added more pictures, sound clips and more up-to-date information online.
