Chattanooga, Tenn. In the wake of a 12-18 season for a 3rd place finish in the NCCAA Mid East Region last year, Coach Liburd is entering a rebuilding year. The team returns most of the squad from last year’s roster and welcomes a few new faces.

TTU look for a very young core to continue to develop and compete quickly, looking for leadership from senior guard Shayla Wilson and junior standout Amber Charles. Temple will also look for big contributions from sophomore trio, Kirsten Fowler, Alexis McGhee and Jess Salera, who started most games last year as freshman.

TTU Women's Basketball is committed to producing high quality athletes that use their God given gifts, to glorify him in every way possible on and off the court. The Crusaders are trying to use athletics to help build tomorrow’s leaders and impact their community.

The Lady Crusaders play a competitive schedule which includes no less than eight games against NAIA top 25 competition at the NAIA I & II level. They also face four NCAA II schools and NCAA Division I North Alabama University this year.
